Typographic Posters
I was asked to design three posters that explored typefaces from three separate periods of typographic history. Each poster required a background history of the typeface, examples of various letters from the typeface showcasing its characteristics, information on the designer, and the year it was made.
Throughout the design process, I realized that the final designs needed to be more expressive of their own individuality. I achieved this by giving each poster its own unique color scheme and by having the titles of each poster showcase the characteristics of the typeface. The resulting posters maintain interest while being informative at the same time.
